2012-12-06 [Duredhel]: Ok guys, we're planning a day change for early next week :O. We'll do the change whether characters are in bed or not, if they are not, don't worry, you can just post them whenever the next in-game day.

The game will jump two weeks before the next in-game day. This means we can skip the insufferable 6 months of RPing all the characters mopey and sad and shell shocked because someone died and some injuries will be... not as bad.

If you want to update the relationship between characters in the interim you can just plot it in plottage or private. Additionally, if there's something during the interim that you really want to play, just ask for a side page and we'll set it up. That is all.

Okay, new day has begun. New students are free to arrive now (I'll post that there are signs directing them to Xavier's Office, which is where Shana will be), and keep in mind it is THREE WEEKS LATER (And check X-Men Time, please!!!), so any injured characters should be mostly, if not fully, healed by now. Also, a funeral and memorial service was held in honor of those students and teachers lost or missing over two weeks prior, so there should not be much, if any, moping around or sadness! :3

And with that, you may begin by posting anywhere in the mansion! (Except new kids, who should arrive at the mansion gates ;3)

2013-08-12 [The Past]: Yup, DoFP is the next one in line for the X-Men movies, involves those from First Class and the first three movies.

Wolvie movie is... better than the first one (in my opinion), apart from the fact there is no Remy in this one, heh. Ran smoother than the first, and not a bad story line. Prefer it over the 3 X-Men movies, but those got ruined very fast for me because of how they wrote Rogue. She use to be my fav character from X-Men, and while I have nothing against Anna Paquin, I hate how wimpy they made her compared to her Brotherhood roots in the comics/cartoons.

2013-08-12 [Figgy]: Yeah, I tried watching TLS the other night and I realized just how much I've grown to dislike the original trilogy and Origins. First Class, I truly enjoyed. I honestly hated Anna Paquin as Rogue. I hated her character in the movies. I hate Halle Berry as Storm. I LOVE Kelsey Grammar as Beast. And obv Xavier and Magneto are great.

I honestly wanted First Class to be sort of a reboot of the whole thing, just to fix it.

2013-08-12 [The Past]: 8O that ALMOST as good as my Gambit comic shirt I was gifted by a friend, hehe. It still deserves a SQUEEEEE though 8D so lucky.

I LOVE First Class. I wish it was longer to have more development between Xavier and Erik, as their friendship was amazing in it. For the original trilogy, I have to say, Scott is my favourite. Marsden played him perfectly in my mind, and I really can't see anyone else in that role anymore.

I'm not a fan of Berry as Storm either, I don't think she holds the right air around what comic Storm is. The graceful, feminine, powerful goddess of the weather. I actually enjoyed Toad's part in the first movie too, as small as it was.

Yeah, the bromance between Erik and Charles is my fave. I actually really liked Banshee too. The only thing that irked me was *SPOILER*

My fave in the Trilogy had to be Nightcrawler. I mean... who doesn't love Nighty?

And yes, my thoughts exactly on Storm. She seemed like less of an actual character and more like she was just... there.

2013-08-12 [The Past]: Hehe, I do love Kurt, and this was an interesting take on him, I am just sad they didn't expand/link him and Mystique together, or even hint at it! But then again, I REALLY wanted some Mystique/Azazel in FC too :(

The stuff around Banshee was great! Great humour in the development of his suit, and seeing how he played out in the final mission. I was sad to see Darwin go too, :( he would had been great to see in a full out mission!

I'm not a fan of what they did to Mystique in it, but I can appreciate changing the stuff around to make it away from the comics but with hints of it too. I'm also glad they brought in Hank's physical mutation before he tried out his cure, even if it was only with his feet. Feel most don't try to go down the route now days with him, because he doesn't look 'normal' in his pre-Beast days.
